2 degrees of negative camber shouldn't cause significant wear. If I see the same when I eventually do mine, I'll probably set it at 3 degrees and just a hint of toe out.
Normally adding or increasing the rate of the rear bar would induce or increase oversteer. I feel like the rear bar might also bind up the rear axle that we're trying to keep planted. I have not played around much with trucks though. A big front bar is a compromise. It will probably make it a...
Fantastic result. Totally deserves the ST badges. Don't be mad when I copy you and follow suit. As a mid-pack national autocrosser I understand and like your alignment settings. Only thing left now is to find a Torsen LSD and these trucks would be perfect little sport trucks.
Did the lowering...
SCCA member and autocrosser here. What if I had a buddy whos an engineer that fabs up all sorts of stuff? Would this be a situation where you provide the specs and he does the fab or should I just take him my truck and he does both design and fab? I only ask because dude doesn't sleep and has a...
No worries. So far it just seems like a poor design that I'll just have to live with. Doesn't seem like a malfunction. I mean why would you ever have a radio start on the AM band, that's the one that should take two or three button pushes to get to, not the FM.
I tried a search, but since it's a two character search it was hard to drill down.
I'd like for my radio to default to the FM band when I push the button, but it starts at the AM band. Am I missing a setting somewhere? This is an XL model, so not the fancy head unit, just the basic one...
I sent a message through their website the other day.
" Thank you for contacting Belltech. Unfortunately we do not have an exact timeframe as to when the kit will be available. As soon as the kit is released then I can reach out to you directly and let you know ASAP. "
I just want to give them...
Nice video. When you were bracketing in on your goal did you notice a pattern with the flats? On my Miata a flat ends up being about a 1/16th change in toe. So having set it for 1/16 toe in, I can go to events and adjust 3 flats to 1/8th toe out. For competition that's a good starting place and...
From what I've seen, insurance will cover chip repairs and is not subject to deductible. Windshield replacements are subject to deductible. At least with USAA.
Haven't had my Ranger for a full week yet. Less than 500 miles and this happens on the drive home yesterday.
I was wondering what was going to be my inevitable first painful blemish and the universe answered. Wasn't even close to the guy in front. Easily a 6-8 second following distance. Oh well.
