I just bought a simple cover on Amazon. Seems to work fine.

So I found an armrest replacement from Ford. KB3Z-2106024-AA (Black). For those who were wondering how to remove the old one here is how the part arrives from the factory so that shows how it will come off. The frame and mount is integral to the arm rest. Ill comment on my replacement when I get time to install it.

My truck is a pretty basic 2019 XLT with the Ebony Cloth interior, so this arm rest is the black fake leather/vinyl. Ive never sat in a full leather Ranger to know of that part is different honestly. See picture. No fancy decorative stitching, only cheap fake leather.

Thanks
I have an XLT as well and have considered changing to leather. I actually use a fleece cover over mine that has served well over the last few years. Warm in the winter and not sticky in the summer.
Maybe I should be happy with what I got!

Install is done! Not too bad a job.

1) You have to pull the USB/120V outlet panel straight back. After squeezing the top. It has four of those white clips on the bottom.

2)Undo four 7mm hex head screws that bolt the armrest to the main center console(use a crescent wrench no room for a socket).

3)Pull the rear console cover straight back(just a little bit of tugging straight back). Rear console cover doesn't need to be removed all the way just the top of it enough to slide the arm rest off. It was a pain till I stopped being gentle.

4) Slide out the old armrest

5)Re Tighten 4 screws. And then pop it all back together.

I did the quick, easy & cheap - hand towel. Can remove & wash if needed. Also emergency access to hand towel lol

I can take the lid off. That is the easy part. Anybody ever figure out how to take the lid itself apart for recovering? I did some prying and got close but since it is my wife's I snapped it back together before breaking it. I really don't want to buy another if it is just going to do the same crap.

has the replacement arm rest held up over time? or has it begun to fall apart like its predecessor?
