I have never understood the:
Harley vs. Foreign Motorcycle Drama
Jeep vs. Bronco Drama
Ranger vs. Toyota Drama
or...all the other Brand loyalty and brand bashing "drama". We are all on 2 wheels, lets respect each other. We are all 4X4 enthusiasts, lets respect each other and also realize that at various times in history all Brands have made crap and good vehicles.

Where am I going with this, or why?:
Today I was at the local Wally World (heh....they have my Viagra real cheap). When I was leaving and getting ready to open my door I heard a loud and aggressive male voice shout, "Fuc_in Ford Ranger". The shout came from a passing vehicle, a Nissan Frontier pickup, an older model. The voice was loud and aggressive and put me on immediate guard. The fool drove off. What a way to cause unnecessary drama, alarm or confrontation! Why?! Granted I have a cyber orange Ranger and it stands out...but the Ranger is beautiful and stands out. Was he just jealous on the inside? Probably. Asses like this do not realize that we have worked our butts off to afford our rides. These are the same jealous a-holes that vandalize our rides

Are you sure he didn't shout "It's a Ford Fuckin' Ranger!"? For whatever reason that's been an internet thing for years and years. There's a bunch of videos, memes, etc.

Here is the interesting thing. Just look around and notice how you see way more old Ford Rangers still running around vs. any other old compact trucks. You see more old Rangers then old Toyotas (frames probably rotted out), Nissans, and pretty much any small truck from that era. Heck you hardly ever see an S10 anymore. Those have all been hauled off to the junk yard, but old Rangers are still running all over the place.

This post and others validates my time on the knobs and controls of Ranger Vehicle Engineering...The mindset we had was Ford Tough and it was not always easy, but to stand firm and do what was right...career "ending" and stand tough, makes me proud that I was part of this heritage. My engineers did me proud for sure! Many of them are no longer with us, but their legacy of hard work and "do the right thing" stands out!

I lambasted a Taco troll, but I would never go to Taco World and troll them ... you bought a Taco... good for you... You bought a Jeep as Ford "shafted you and you like your Jeep" Good for you...it is Ford's loss.

you should not take offense at this. it is actually a healthy joke, meme etc. among people under say 50 ish... lots of versions exists. basically its saying that ford rangers are plentiful and reliable and can be owned by any type of person. also one of my favs was the, "dont underestimate it, dats a fing ford ranger". emblems etc. are on ebay even t shirts. so next time you get the FFR smile wave and be proud.

I Had an 01 Xterra, an 04 (Desert Runner), 07 and a 17 Pro 4X and never had an issue with any of them. I miss my Pro4x. They sure like to bag on Nissan here, but I think it's mostly the Taco crowd. Too bad for them though that while they were so busy hating, they didn't see Ford taking over their territory.

The 22 Frontier just didn't appeal to me visually. In the past, I've had an S10, Ram 1500, Dakota, Mazda B2200 and my first truck was a 76 Chevy Luv. Never had a Toyota though.

Also in my garage is a Harley, a KTM and a Suzuki, and they all get along just fine.

But I agree I never understood the ones who are on the Bronco forum and hate Jeeps and vise versa. I have an appreciation for all makes and models and those who drive them. Sure I kid about Taco guys but it's really not them as much as Toyota and the Tacoma. It really is a terrible truck (3rd Gen) and was the worst I've ever owned. With that said...Great post!!!

I need to admit....the Frontier was older and looked pretty sad. He may have had buck teeth too.

I've been driving around this town since 1989 in a Ford Ranger . Had a well known 1990 Ranger show truck for a long time that gathered lots of attention and I still drive my 1991 Ranger that I used as a work truck . I've heard them all yelled at some point . Now that I mostly drive the 2020 I'm waiting for it to happen again ,lol.
