Canadian Carvana??

Has anyone ever used one of the online places to sell a vehicle in Canada? I realize I would be leaving a little meat on the bone but the no haggle and no bullshit of the process has me considering it for my Ranger. Specifically I'm curious if you get value for things like the tonneau cover and winter tires. Thanks!

Hey Jim - don’t do it until after tonight’s storm passes.

I haven’t bought or sold but I did get some quotes.

I’ve done the Canada Drives offer/quote and it came in at $29k, paid $38k. They ask several questions but only about condition of the vehicle. They do not ask about any aftermarket accessories.

The Auto Trader quote did ask about aftermarket but it was very minimal for wheels or topper. $500 or so. And the offers came in from dealers - super low, basically wholesale or less - I think it was $23k and that was last year.

Thanks Duke. I think that's the way I'm gonna go. I don't like selling cars from my driveway, or having to explain what a tune is to someone who doesn't care lol. This seems like a fair way to go, so likely pull the trigger at Easter.

Congrats on your retirement too, likely won't be long and you'll be bored and outta projects to do around the house lol

Thanks Jim, it’s sure going to be different spending so much time up on the lake in Kincardine. I’ll likely never run out of projects up there.
