This is one of those features that I don't use much, but every once in a while, it comes in really handy....

Here in the snowbelt, many folks (myself included) pull their wiper arms up away from the windshield when the vehicle is parked outside in freezing temps so the blades don't get frozen down on a frosty/snowy morning. I've busted more than one wiper blade chiseling it off the windshield with an ice scraper, and I'm sure that I'm not alone here!

Installation in cars and light trucks is not recommended

Installing the Clear View Front Wiper Parking Area defrosters is limited to larger vehicles with flatter windshields and adequate room for installation. Many light trucks have steeply sloping windshields and minimum clearance between the glass and dash surfaces which can make installation challenging.
