Sorry for the late reply,
What else did you leave in there? Clean cooling system? Why? How much boost? Tuned for ”tasteful” mods?

This reminds me of the engine failure post.
sorry for the late reply, the truck was still running stock tune the day prior I was data logging to send in logs to 5 star tuning. The engine didn’t blow I know for a fact it was the turbo literally heard it seize up. I was driving home after picking up the kids maybe pushing 4-5 psi and heard the klink and then the turbo went out. I drove it to the dealership where it’s at rn. Back story on the rag, I was stationed in Alaska I had left my truck at the Walmart parking lot overnight (I know I shouldn’t have left it there) l. Anyway I had my wife take me to pick it up so I can take it to cord to get the A/C fixed. When getting to the truck I noticed the hood was popped open and the driver side door was cracked. I opened the hood noticed the air filter box was open l called the local police, they came over. Apparently I wasn’t the only truck that was broken into. Anyway after filing the police report I fixed the airbox and started making my way to the dealership and shortly after the truck lost power. After inspection the techs at ford showed me the rag it was eaten up. Got it replaced and the cooling system cleaned out. Just recently we drove from Alaska to Texas while towing a trailer. We did frequent stops but noticed the truck was making a weird wind blowing through a cracked window doing when climbing those 12% grade roads. We made it to Texas with no concerning issues. I did get the oil changed twice while en route. Day before yesterday I did all the data logs everything ran fine. Drove all morning yesterday no issues. After picking up the kids I was merging on the on ramp and boom the turbski said peace followed by a huge cloud of smoke. Dealership won’t be able to look at it for a couple weeks. But I was able to drive it there going very slow staying under 3k rpm. I was about 1 mile from the dealership.

I was considering this....
There had to be access to the cab to unlock the hood.
There had to be a fair amount of noise being made to have all that wrenching going on.
Surely this was being done out in public (albeit probably in the dark?), so someone should have noticed this weirdness going on?
So many questions, and so few details.
I'm sure it'll all get cleared up soon ;)
Just posted the story

It's stories like this that make me wonder how some people make through the day.

The OPs writings are like a glimpse into the mind of a schizophrenic. Like, how does this man tie his shoes and get out of the house in the morning?

It's like a drunk dude wrote a mad libs.

Ok so they cleaned the intercooler? And probably didn’t get it clean. Otherwise none of this story makes sense to me.
Intercooler is downstream from the turbo. Would have to be from air cleaner to turbo to do damage if that’s what your implying. OP described “wind” noise. Sounds like a boost leak. If so it could cause turbo to overspeed and set up a fatigue failure of one of the wheels.

I’m still trying to figure out what really happened. Cleaned cooling system? What and why?

Most likely means cleaning out debris in the intercooler after compressor wheel grenaded. Along with the charge air tubing on both sides. And also the air cleaner to turbo piping

Ranger Pride (affectionately ? known as RP) was a polarizing person. Most tolerated or despised him, usually no middle ground. He had a dancing banana avatar so you'll see lots of banana references.
He did have an appreciation thread that has since been deleted (Google search results | 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation) - Ranger5G.com ), the Googles remember...
He could be helpful at times and even entertaining, but often turned to pushing people's buttons and causing trouble. Ultimately, he pushed things too far and was banned.
You can see his posts but keep in mind those are only the ones that didn't get removed.

That’s what I was thinking boost leak could have caused it, if the dealer don’t warranty imma have to upgrade.
