? I always heard it like this…What’s the last thing that goes through a bugs mind when it hits a windshield….It’s ass.

BTW the kit comes with little clear bumpers that AVS says to stick on your hood in case the deflector hits some seriously heavy wind. I stuck them to the back of the deflector instead.
You should have done what the directions said. The bumpers can rub a spot in the hood. If they are attached to the hood, they will rub the deflector. I have seen it happen. They know what they are doing.

You should have done what the directions said. The bumpers can rub a spot in the hood. If they are attached to the hood, they will rub the deflector. I have seen it happen. They know what they are doing.
Good point. The bumpers they provided are easily obtained from Home Depot or Lowes :thumbsup:

I installed the AVS Bugflector II - it does not require any drilling etc. 100% reversible if you decide you don't want it. I *definitely* recommend adding one, though - they are relatively inexpensive, pretty easy to install, and the front of the hood will quickly become chipped up from road grit/rocks. When I wash the truck, I frequently find impact sites on the deflector that saved the hood from a rock chip.
