Thats a good question for AI (GROK)...hopefully, it'll do a quick job distilling all 10 million posts on this subject just at Ranger5G...Hello everyone.
I have the bilstein 5100's all around and set the front to 1.8 lift to level it out.
I"m due for new tires. Whats the biggest tires i can go without any other mods to the suspension on the stock Lariat 18's?
TIA
I put 255/70/18 on mine. Fit perfectlyHello everyone.

I agree with the All Knowing Club, Grand Poobah... and my other All Knowing Club compadre!https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/biggest-tire-on-stock-18”-rims.20192/
Here is someone with 18" wheels.
The search function here is pretty good, you just have to dedicate the time to sorting through it all.
You could avoid doing all of that AND fit over 33" tires if you keep the tire width to 255There's some older but still valid and really good threads on here that go into a lot of depth with charts and breaking down what combinations work.
The tl;dr is you can fit 33" in there with spacers on stock wheels or get new wheels with less offset. You'll also need to remove the crash bars in the front & back of the tire, or replace them with low clearance ones.
I think you can fit 35" with a 6" suspension lift, but that's a whole other ordeal. 35" will also fit with the Baja pro-runner suspension system if using their fenders. Otherwise, you're at 33" and below.
I have Toyo AT-III 33" tires on 17" Icon wheels with zero offset, low clearance crash bars and Fox 2.5 suspension & Icon rear leafs set to leveled height.
Zero rub or issues with this setup, and was the same situation when I had Eibach 2.0 shocks and OME rear leafs.
Will this work under compression with stock wheel offset? You could avoid doing all of that AND fit over 33" tires if you keep the tire width to 255
Yup! I'm running 255/80r17 tires on the stock wheel, no spacers and I do not rub anywhere, even off road. They measure about 33.25". Maybe there would be some contact with the sway bar disconnected, but as it stands right now I don't hit anything through the wheel travel. Did plenty off roading on this setup, including some good articulation, and see no evidence of rub. Will this work under compression with stock wheel offset?
Nice! That's awesome. I'm a fan of pizza cutters.Yup! I'm running 255/80r17 tires on the stock wheel, no spacers and I do not rub anywhere, even off road.
Not really any noticeable changes. TBH I think any difference is muted by the fact that the tires are E-load and can be rough as shit on the road. I exaggerate, the ride is plenty comfortable, but it's a huge change from the SL tires I replaced.Nice! That's awesome. I'm a fan of pizza cutters.
Any change in turning radius? I think that I sacrificed a little with my setup.
I started with the stock 17" wheels, got tires and then got new wheels with some bead grip after smashing one of my stock wheels apart on some rocks while aired down and way TF off grid alone in the mountains. If I hadn't gone this route, then I would have absolutely gotten some skinnies.
can you post pics of your truck? Those are the tires I’ve been thinking about getting too. How do you like them?Just put on falcon rubitrek 265/65 18 on stock 18-in wheels was going to go 70 series Glad I didn't in reverse driver barely rubs a front crash bar I'm leveled at 2 and 1/2 in 1-in blocks in the back and one and a half inch wheel spacers
