Belltech's 2"/4" or 3"/6" drop kit?

I'm wanting to lower my '21 2wd Super Crew, once I take possession of it in October. I know Belltech has a 2"/4" drop currently, but hopefully, by the time I get my truck, they'll have their 3"/6" drop kit released? I want my truck to look identical to SCT's SEMA Ranger from 2019 below.

I'm planning on running 20x9 wheels, +18 Offset, 5.75" Backspacing, with 265/50 Toyo's and also using the Air Design Fender Flares, just like the SCT truck.

So, which kit do yall think would work better for me, considering the options I'm going to use?

To say the least the amount of drop the Beltech kit offers you will already be close to the ground to say the least. I suggest going with that kit as you will still have travel in general where it won't be too harsh. I just hope it doesnt cause major problems

I know the Rangers sit up too high, seems like they sit the same whether they're 2wd or 4wd?

As much as I hate to think about the price, I was actually thinking about buying the front drop from Switch and the rear 4" drop from Belltech? I believe I saw someone on this section say they got 5" out of the 4" drop somehow?

I do not want it on the ground at all... I hope SCT emails me back with some info on how much the drop lowered them and I assume those flares are even with the OEM fender lip?

Honestly, I wish I actually had the truck in my possession, so I could research it better...

Something you need to understand which is something a lot of people on here need to understand is that pickup trucks have a huge rake or at least a break of sorts for the fact that when you load it down it will level out. Now if you're trying to make this thing into a awesome Street truck that's not even going to have groceries in it and try and blow all the Hondas away then you should be fine LOL. What I'm trying to get at is the suspension kit that belltech already has available will definitely lower the back by quite a bit and you might actually have so little travel available that you might bottom out quickly. The problem with that is you might not have a good enough spring rate that'll keep you from bottoming out and will cause you to have an extremely rough ride by either bottoming out or by having too stiff of a spring rate. Does that make sense?

The rear drop from Belltech allows you to lower the rear from 4-6". With the axle flipped, the lowest hole in the shackle is a 4" drop. The next hole UP gives you a 5" drop, and so on. Someone on here lowered theirs 2" in front and 5" in back.

Check out the other lowering threads, mainly the last 3-5 pages and you'll see the truck I mentioned above.

Yeah that would be some nice info to have, the stance on that truck is very nice.

Well, first off, I'm not a child... and I've had trucks lifted and lowered throughout my life. Ride quality to me isn't important. I've had more trucks since the late 80's than most people I know... I can assure you I know how "rake" works on trucks... I don't plan to use this much, other than a random mulch load from Lowe's or the like, this is mostly going to be a pure street daily driven truck. I can use my old 4x4 Ranger or my stepdad's diesel if I need to haul anything... Not going to "blow by" Honda's either...

I've seen the big thread on here about dropping them. Most look ok, but in order to pull off that look, I'd really like something more like it. I guess I should've just waited on SCT to email me back.

The way you worded your first reply made zero sense... Unsure how a 2"/4" drop will put a new Ranger on the ground? I believe it would be better if we had a 3"/5" kit, over the 3"/6" kit they're coming out with soon...? But enough bickering!

Yep, I know, but the front is all bolt in. There's nobody around here that can weld in the rear...

The 2/4 and 3/6 are the same kit. It's adjustable between 2-2.75 in front and 4-6 in the rear.

Cool! I asked Belltech and they didn't tell me much about it..., other than they were hoping it would be out by September-October and how much it's going to cost... That'll probably be the kit I get then. Maybe someone on here will have it before I get my truck? Reason I asked is, I'm doing a little budget planning price sheet! Truck I ordered is $36k +/- and so far, the parts I want are a hair under $10k.

The kit is already out. the 2/4 kit is the 3/6 kit.

No, it's not... I just emailed Belltech last week and here's what they said.

"Thank you for contacting Belltech. We are still in production on the 3”/6” kits for the new Ranger lowering kits. They should be available right around late September early October. The kit will be starting at right around $1,100 plus shipping."

They didn't give me anymore information, other than that... I assume it's going to have adj. coilovers in the front and maybe different control arms, since this drop is $400 +/- more than the 2"/4" one...

Yes, Freakride Suspension is under the SCT Ranger, the pic I posted originally. I don't have the means to install the rear part of their kit. It's $4500 for their full front and rear kit..., plus finding someone to install the rear for me
