2022 XLT 2WD no issues so far. 19K on the ODO and almost 2 years now. Lots of towing. just did my second oil change. Tuned with Livernois Tow Tune. I also drive in tow hual mode as the engine lugs a bit in normal mode. 87 99% of the time

Ordered and received mine in May 2019. The only issue I have is the missing of gear/lurching when truck is cold. It typically only does it once and then rest of the trip is fine. Have gotten used to it by now. Otherwise, it has been a good truck. Just under 35K miles now. Hoping none of the other known issues come my way.

My 2020 Lariat Scab has been awesome. Only 14,000 miles as I have three vehicles. My Ranger tows my tent trailer awesome with 18-19 mpg not bad. Lot's of extras including Unleashed tune which is awesome and fixed the shifting problem. The only bad thing is I twice had Ford replace the crappy plastic shift boot. It will need replacing again. LOVE MY RANGER!

2020 Lariat 4WD CrewCab. Had it in about 2000 miles ago to fix a squeal that sounded like a belt but turned out to be a spring on the starter that went south. They said they had to drop the transmission to fix it. Otherwise all good.

I thought my SCAB had a misaligned rear door, but it turned out. I just closed it a touch harder. Plus I didn't think I was getting enough heat but I just figured out that I needed to go to Manuel mode turn off the AC and turn the fan on high and definitely will heat your feet well.
Just like people complaining about having canceled airplane flights you only hear about those not the 10,000s of ones were completed. No problems.

When car companies admit that they chain their engineers to " Planned obselescents" and really start building crap that could and would last longer we probably wouldn't have to have sites such as this. But you know the money grubbing suits on the top floor don't give a **it. They just want your money.

Personally I think pandemic models have more problems. My cousin owns a repair shop and used car lot and says don't buy a 2021 or 2022 anything from anyone, they're all crap.
I can assure you my '21 is not crap!

Thanks for all the replies!

I did get the extended warranty so I should be covered for some time. Good the hear that there are some with no to little problems. I also love my Ranger and use it mostly to tow a Tab 400. Pulls well and perfect size for my uses. Thanks again.

I read all the messages of people having all kinds of problems with their ranger. Really discouraging. I have a 2020 Ranger XLT with 17k on it,

Anyone got a few miles on theirs without problems?
Not one single problem so far. 2021 fx4 xlt 21000 miles
