Anyone else notice that Tracy parked Butterscoth in the grass so we can't give her grief about her parking skills?
The front tires are still crooked though. :lipssealed:

Installed my new Bilstein rear shocks today. Wow, now I understand what everyone has been talking about. A quick ride over a couple railroad track the difference is amazing. Of course one of my FX4 shocks was leaking after 12k miles.

Looks great. That was the first thing I did was the tailgate then the grill then the dash.
Actually had my 2 year old daughter due them all for me.
Brian

I have leftover parts from making my own LED bed lights so I made a 20 inch one (weather proof) and used 3M tape to mount it under the hood, I didn't want to drill holes so I opted not to use the 2 different plunger type of switches I had on hand, instead I was able to locate a tilt switch aka mercury switch, yes they still make them just have it enclosed in plastic and a new name (Amazon) ran the wires in loom and tucked it in nicely around and thru the hood. I could not locate a fuse box adapter that fit the fuse slots under the hood so I put 1/4" ring connectors on and attached it to the battery using 2 oem nuts. Put the 3 Amp fuse in line on the positive line and the switch on the negative line. Works!

The fuses under the hood have an odd spacing. I found fuses that fit easy enough but no parts store had a mounted fuse adapter ( 2 fuses 1 slot).
Nicely done Mike - the next time you’re driving up hill at night, don’t freak out from the glow coming from the hood opening near your wipers - your truck’s not on fire - it’s just your mercury switch engaging.

Fire in the hole! Ya I may end up using a plunger switch, after I install the lights in front I will have a better grasp on wires and locations, just want one in the interim. This one doesn't kick on until the hood is up a foot or so.

Finally got a nice warmer day with some time here in Michigan and got my wiring done for my @Baja Designs off road lights from @Stage3Motorsports! I am super happy with them! And I have the yellow light covers that I can swap on and off as needed depending on the weather conditions and drive! They are wired up to the Lightforce Switch Fascia switch!

Had to double take when I saw the snap on covers. Hadn't seen those. Not sure if they diminish output though.

For what it's worth for almost the same price you can get new lenses, clear or amber in whatever pattern you want w/ a new o-ring.

I see BD lists the snap on covers as "rock blockers." The Squadron Pros in my FiST fog pockets get hammered on rough dirt roads all year round, and have held up for years. Not sure if rock protection is needed.

Looks good!
