(Sorry for hijacking this review thread)

So surprisingly, was able to change both low beam leds without having to remove the assemblies, although it was a very tight fit for my hands.
Drivers side a bit harder, but not too bad.
Anyway swapped in the Auxitos and they sort of fit. While they are shorter than the Aukee ones, theyre wider and that extra width does make putting the dust cap a bit harder as it just barely blocks one of the locking tabs of it. Sorry no pictures cause its a very tight angle to see.

However, when changing just the drivers side and leaving the right alone (since it was working fine on that side), i was repositioning both of the bulbs and noticed after about 5 minutes of them being on, the Auxito one was hot (but not too hot to hold and adjust) and the Aukee one straight up would burn my hand if held on to for too long. Maybe theyre just too hot for these assemblies, and maybe the drivers side gets the raw end of the deal.

I also originally thought the drivers side may have failed due to its fan not coming on, but i turned on and off the lights around 6 times and each time the fan kicked on immediately, so not 100% sure why that side was failing, maybe after a certain length of time the fan would shut off? Or maybe just isnt enough to cool it down.

When i drove up this morning both of the Auxito leds worked good and did not shut off on the entire drive up, ill update this thread if i have any issues or no issues in a few weeks.

Aukee on left, Auxito on right.
Gotta admit the aukee just looks better quality, but seems like the auxito has better cooling, but i have no actual data of that.

I had purchased the Aukee after viewing this thread a few months ago, havent had any issues.

Any updates on how the Auxitos compare?

I thought they were much weaker than the aukees, looked bright and seemed good to go, but for all their lumens they were very short ranged. They worked at least.

Picked one up from ebay for the left, i think its a gtr led or something, and put the other aukee back in the right light. Pretty happy now. I would not recommend the gtr light as i had to dremel my housing to make it fit, theyre longer and wider than the Aukees which themselves just barely fit.

Overall pretty happy although i did have some bumps along the way, just really really wish they got rid of that over the top startup sequence for the Novas and up, wouldve gotten those instead of all this.

Will say my only complaint is the cutoff pattern for the light, i get why the left is lower - right higher etc, but their pattern really exaggerates it, the right can potentially blind the person youre passing on the right, and the left has its range drastically reduced which makes me want to raise it more, but then youre blinding people with the middle of the beam.

I just ordered the pros and should get them in a few days.

I installed the pros in my wife's 2017 f150 last week and loved the super sharp cutoff line so much it made me never want to put LED's in a halogen reflector housing ever again. I used the Hikari UltraFocus Eyes of Megatron h7 bulbs on low and high beam and had plenty of room.

I wonder if they will fit in the ranger headlight assembly with ease.

I did use the fuse tap on hers and have an extra to use for my Ranger.

Here's a link to the bulbs.

I bought the ones I posted and just tried to put them in the housing now and they didn't fit.
Wonder if with a little backward engineering we could take the existing cover model it and then make it into an extended back and print new ones that will work for units we want to use but can’t because of this fit issue ?

Idk man because the bulb isn't centered with the opening so the bulb hits the rim of the opening so unfortunately it looks like no matter how far back the cover goes if the bulb hits the rim the cover can't sit properly, maybe with some force it can.

I recant my previous statement.
I put these h7 easy eagle bulbs in the low beams.
H7 LED Headlight Bulb, EASY EAGLE 120W High Power 20000LM Extremely Bright 6500K Cold White CSP Chips Conversion Kit Adjustable Beam https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0856Y79C...t_i_EQKTF9CHQFGQXR51VJ96?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I had these in 9005 in my stock headlamp assembly for high beams and they were extremely bright.
Anyway, they are a tad bit skinnier than the hikaris I initially bought, so the cover barely gets around the bulb by budging it some, but the cap is too shallow to sit all the way with all 3 locking tabs engaged, so 1 tab doesn't engage and it isn't fully seated.

Just got my bulbs yesterday & installed them - my light output doesnt seem to be anywhere near what OP mentioned. I used these bulbs:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096TZM9QD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

They've got good ratings, and it only took a slight modification of the dust cover to get them installed. I'm 90% sure they're all seated properly, but will be checking that tonight. With projector housings are they still supposed to be oriented at 9 & 3? or at 12 & 6? I've seen a bit of a mixed review on that part, everything else there seems to be a consensus on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes that bulb orientation is extremely important. Luckily my Auxito 18,000 bulbs came with instructions on that..
