Alpharex PRO headlight owners step inside please

the drivers side low beam bulb burnt out. So i replaced it with silverstars halogen bulb and now the light pattern is all messed up and theres dark spots. So I swapped the high beam bulbs that came with the headlights into the low beam spots and still have the same issue. Before i had to change the bulb the pattern was perfect. Anyone else have this problem? I feel like the bulb is seated properly when i latch it. Really hard to get in there.

There is an adjustment process where you can twist the bulb around or whatever to adjust the pattern if believe (that may be just LED bulbs though). Instructions Should have been with the bulbs maybe.

Sure there isn’t a loose O ring inside scattering light?

You mean like an o ring that seals the bulb to the housing? I didn’t notice it having one when I removed the bulbs. There such a pita to get to on the ranger

A lot of engineering goes into headlight design besides looks. The beam pattern is dependent on exact positioning of the bulb in order to have optimum beam length and spread. You want to ensure that the filament is oriented properly with the reflector. Notice how the other side's filament is relation to its reflector and position your replacement bulb the same way.

Thought with halogen bulbs it didn’t matter? I allready took out the passenger side and it looked to be in the same way. I don’t know maybe its not seated all the way but it looks to be.

Figured it out, bulb wasn’t seated correctly. Bought a scope camera to work on my iphone so I could see what i was doing.

Just had my alpharex pros installed ....I decided on using Auxito H7 GF series LED bulbs in lieu of the provided Halogen bulbs.

I'm pretty happy with how the lights have turned out...great cut off beam nice bright color.... everything seems to be functioning as well...turn signals, 4 ways...DRL functions well.

I did not install the assemblies myself I just took my truck to a local ford dealer to have installed and they reported nothing much in the way of issues during installation and that everything was pretty much plug and play.

To date the best upgrade I've made to my Tremor
