Which lights are you talking about the turn off? Also if the running lights or driving lights are set to low beams from the factory then it won't turn on the driving lights which are the low beams on until you put it in Drive during the day
Low beams will turn off when in Drive (in daylight).

Assuming that you dont have a lariat what are the setting in ForScan?
Yep, I have an XLT. And I'll be honest, I'm a bit of a newb and have heard of FORSCAN but wouldn't know what it is or what to do with it.

I honestly gave up on the alpharex lights and sent them back and went with a $500 set from pro tuning lab. Zero problem with these.

Show us some pictures of them on your truck and of the cutoff pattern. Did you need to do any changes in Forscan changes to get the LED bars to operate as DRLs instead of the low beams? Also did you change out the halogen bulbs for LED?

It's not very dark here. So i can't get a better cutoff picture, but there are the basics.

All I did in forscan was the turn off low beams for DRL, and enable parking lights only. Since the led bar functions as both DRL and turn signal, it's always on. And i only swapped out the lows for LED bulbs since i never use the highs. They use an H1.

How are these lights holding up? I am considering these as I think they look great, but I am concerned about the 90 day warranty.
I am not familiar with forscan as I have a lot to learn about Ford, but will the drl work when the switch is in auto position during the daylight hours?
Do you know if there is setting within the truck that will provide the same result without using forscan?
It would be great if there was a headlight manufacturer that gives drl without having to manually switch it or run a wire into the fuse box. This is the main reason why I am on the fence about Alpharex, and GTR Carbide (which nobody here seems to run for some reason). Pro tuning lab doesn't mention much about the drl setup. Thanks

DRL work in auto mode, no need for forscan. And while i used those lights they worked fine for me. They were a tight squeeze to put in, but they do fit it you have patience.

The problem with the GTR Carbides is they are reflector headlights not projector lights.
