So I guess I had them aimed a bit high. On my 2.5 hour trip home the other night, I got flashed 3 times. So last night I re-aimed them and sure enough they were.
But I noticed last night that my cutoff is not as sharp as it should be. The two low-beam projectors don’t perfectly line up with each other, which makes for two separate cutoff lines from each headlight. Kind of annoying, and something that didn’t happen with my Morimotos back when I had my F150.
For the $1250 I paid, I’m not 100% satisfied because of this and I don’t see a way to adjust each projector independently.
I’d hate to return them because (imo) these are the best looking headlights available. But I’m considering it. With all this flipping headlights around, I’ve gotten pretty quick at getting them swapped out.

that's expected considering the wall's relation to the truck.

if you were facing a wall at 25' you wouldn't see that. you're lights are fine.

one tip is when aiming at 25'. measure the distance from the ground to the top of the bulb (not housing). take that number and subtract 2" and that's the height of the cut off at 25'. Tweak from there.

that’s what I did, and the lights do have the “double cutoff” at 25’. I just didn’t think to snap a picture until I had left my friend’s house where we adjusted them. I’ll try to post a better pic tonight.

Another question, there is already a fuse in #24, do I just pull it and replace with this new one?

There shouldn't be a fuse in #24 under the hood. If there is, yes, just replace it.

Yeah there is on mine, not sure what it goes to. My #27 is empty, but I don't know if that is switchable. So replacing it should be OK?

They should have provided a fuse tap IIRC, if so, replacing will be fine. Double check your manual, but at least for 19&20 models, it's a spare.

At same cost if not a little more than the Nova Series. If anything I'm curious of the comparison for the two. Other than that I think I will stay with my Alpharex LUXX series lights.

I know, I had those ordered - thought I caught the last pair for sale at Stage 3 and missed the boat. So I just switched to the Alphas. Honestly, I like the aesthetics of the Alphas more than the Morimoto. I like the shape of the LED strip and feel like it gives it more of an aggressive front end look. The Morimotos could use a little brightwork or else they'll just blend in to my black truck (all just a matter of preference really).

But I do feel like Morimoto makes the superior LED projector setup in terms of output and "sharpness." The brights on the Alphas are awesome though...I can see for forever.

I am wondering now, after searching Alpharex's website/blog, if there's a board I can swap out since I have my old Pros on hand, that will defeat the stupid startup sequence. I just feel a bit childish every time I unlock the doors lol.

So I opened up my Pros tonight just out of curiosity, and found there’s a connection that’s unplugged. I wonder if it’s like the Morimotos and that simply controls the sequential turn signals, or if that single connection is all that activates the startup sequence. Gonna experiment some with it when I have time, which will probably end in me taking my front end apart again to try to figure it out. I’ll swap the entire board from the Pros to the Novas if I have to lol. Then I guess I’ll have to try to sell the Pros with the Nova startup show.

XLT owner here , installed the alpha pro series in alpha black over the weekend as well as the included drl harness and am extremely disappointed in light output. I had drop in auxitos in both low beams and fogs and besides the glare from the halogen housings its literally night and day.Anyone running the H7's the alpharex pros shipped with ? or all of you add drop in led's ? If it wasnt such a major PITA id swap back my old setup, and to all of u Diyers, how'd u like getting to those 2 torx bolts behind the bumper to remove the valance? ! My shoulders are still sore !

I can guarantee you most people on here at the least that ordered the pros put in LED lights. Mind you they also mentioned they were a pain in the ass to install into the housings. My suggestion to you is to change out the bulbs to PIAA headlights. Why that particular brand? To say the least they are a nice high quality halogen bulb that is a very well-known in the performance industry and has DOT rated headlights. I also have a set of PIAA headlights in my 1993 Nissan Pathfinder and I like them. In a projector they will do well too. Keep in mind that the lights will still need to be adjusted after installing the assemblies on the truck. After that is done it will make a difference for you.

thnx for the reply, im no stranger to PIAA , back in my rice days it was all about PIAA since then there has been a lot of competition to PIAA , have you tried other bulbs like Silverstars ,Osram etc.. and the PIAA's outperformed them? just asking as I ran out and bought some silverstars with the same results as the H7's that shipped in the alpha housings albeit the silverstars were whiter
