Good find on the Amazon Deal but as Chris said ours comes with one. But it's a good thread for those who need a new one, these batteries don't seem to last all that long especially in hotter areas like here in AZ, FL & TX.

Should fit in the bed nicely. Add a solar charge controller and a panel and you are good to go.

Ok now that I'm more awake and thinking clearer it looks like you wanted it strictly for camping. If so why not a LiPo battery? Yes they're more money but they're a lot safer to use and will last much longer in battery life. Especially if it's going to be outside in the heat.

Should be looking very closely at manufacture date. Buying a year old battery is a bad Idea. Get one with the date stamp only a month or 2 old. Once the acid goes in the clock starts ticking. Now a days, that means date of manufacture.

This usually necessitates buying it locally to validate, unless the seller will guarantee the manufacture date.

Most people run AGMs and not LiPos because of the cost. This battery is like $150 on sale, a cheap LiPo will run you 4x that.

That's why I said "Yes they're more money" in my post.

Plus they will last you a lot longer life cycle (and run cycles) so essentially you're going to get your moneys worth out of it not replacing it more often. I live by the saying "buy once cry once".

I got my 100AH LiFePo4 battery from amazon, a battery case, fuse block, wire and 4 outlets for $500 bucks. I use it to run my fridge for over 2 days in 100f weather and i use it to air up my tires. I say just get the LiFePo4 and you will get way more bang for you buck.

I got my 100AH for $350 at amazon. The only down side of that battery is the BMS doesn't have a cold charging temp cutoff. Keep that in mind and the battery is solid.

When I bought my power station I went back and forth between the lithium Ion and the LiPo. After watching several videos and reading tons of articles it was a no brainer the LiPo was well worth the difference in price. They'll go 8 years charging them every day and only degrade to 80% and they're much safer than the lithium ion.

I was a little unclear what you meant by second use option?
Like, "hey I want an AGM battery for foolin' around and BONUS.. it should fit my Ranger if/when..."

Before you venture down this path here is an article you should read. Adding a second battery is a little more than just tapping into the existing system with a couple of feed wires.

Yeah, sorry to mislead - not adding a second battery like you mean here.. been there done that with sailboats (12v and 24v systems). Anyhow, just tinkering and thinking it's always nice to have a spare battery.
