Aftermarket Projector Headlights?

I posted this in another thread that I can't remember where but Alpharex said they have Ranger headlights in their production lineup. No info as to when tho....

I second this. I asked Alpharex via IG and they said they have something in the works.

I've tried the modding some headlights on my old fusion using the oven method. Long story short, I messed them up because I didn't put the headlight housing on a pan and the housing started to melt through the oven grates. so I don't think I'm gonna try that again

Better late than never, but have you thought about modifying your fenders and hood to accommodate your "custom" headlight housings?

I dont know if the us version ford ranger lariat and the asian wildtrak have the same head light setting

I open my wildtraks headlight just so see what bulbs are fitted

Low beam projector style its Osram D8S
High beam is sylvania 9005

9005 led is easy to find
The D8s is a bit harder to find

I also would like to see something with projector style headlamps, even just the low-beams would be nice, I currently have LED low, high, and turn signal bulbs, though for any of you out there that are looking at LED turn signals, I recommend getting a set that mimics the resistance of the OEM incandescents, I just installed some PerformLED 7443 turn signals, and though they do not hyperflash outside, the turn indicators on the cluster panel do, not sure if ForScan can fix this issue, but I'd rather not install resistors and hack into the stock wiring as that would void warranty.

Looking at these and looking at the comparison video between AlphaRex and Morimoto I think I will go AlphaRex Lux series.

The only thing I am questioning is whether to get Pro and be able to put in LED bulbs (thinking this will be better down the line if there is a failure I’ll be able to replace the bulb) or the Luxx and risk having to buy the whole assembly again if there’s a failure. What does everyone think?
