EDIT: I know how to set the following distance and I HAVE read the manual. That is not what I'm asking. Please don't post just to call me an idiot. Thanks.
My 2021 has 3000 miles now and there are a few things that annoy me about ACC.
1- No stop and go (already read on here there isnt any even though I swear I read literature that it did before buying)
2- when I come down a hill and reach the bottom starting up the other side it drops about 5mph and then goes full throttle to accelerate up the hill to get back to my target speed. This is bad for efficiency and annoying.
3- when a car in front slows down the truck doesn't, it gets really close and then panic brakes, and since it's so close now that cars accelerates away but the truck waits a long time for an appropriate distance to get moving again.
So is there a way to increase reaction time or sensitivity? Someone told me you could through a scan tool but wasn't very specific. I have forscan but haven't dug through yet.
