I'm on a 55mph country 2 lane highway and it goes through a small town where it drops to 35 for 1/8 mile and coming into that speed zone where we slow down it gets right up on their bumper before matching their speed.

Reading the manual isn't going to change the way it works. I already have and I know how to set the distance. That isn't my question. My question is changing how long it takes to start braking after it senses the car in front is slowing down.
