A couple of quick quetions, if I may. If you know, how much did that bike weigh? What was that drive like? I've been considering a similar receiver bike ramp/mount for my 400lb Honda Rebel. Any feedback on your experience would be helpful.
Sorry for the late reply, only saw this now. A BMW R1250GS is about 550lbs. Within the payload of the Ranger Raptor, and well within that of the leaf-sprung Ranger. I was concerned about the receiver hitch though. Since the rack was only attached at that one point, it seemed like a lot of stress for that area. I would've felt better if there were at least two hitch points.

I might as well add to it. lol Here's the bed all packed up from our trip back in June. There might have been room for one or two more bags from Annie's shopping sprees. ?

For me at this point, posting a pic of the bed of my truck, falls into the “no act too degrading” category.

I mean, one of those old guy grab handle style 3 step folding ladders and a couple of worn moving pads?

No recovery gear, no emergency tool box (maybe a little too much faith in Quality is Job 1?), no ratchet straps, no ice cleats or snow shoes?

Nah, I’ll pass for now. When it starts looking like the truck I bought it for and not some mall cruiser, then. :)
