Sorry for the late reply, only saw this now. A BMW R1250GS is about 550lbs. Within the payload of the Ranger Raptor, and well within that of the leaf-sprung Ranger. I was concerned about the receiver hitch though. Since the rack was only attached at that one point, it seemed like a lot of stress for that area. I would've felt better if there were at least two hitch points.A couple of quick quetions, if I may. If you know, how much did that bike weigh? What was that drive like? I've been considering a similar receiver bike ramp/mount for my 400lb Honda Rebel. Any feedback on your experience would be helpful.
