Jumped up to 34's. These do measure true 34" at 33.99" from BFG.

Lift : Leveled, Running Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2, currently.

Wheels: Method 305. 17x9 0 offset.

Tires: BF Goodrich KO2 285/75R 17.

Mods: Crash Bar delete, egg crates removed from behind wheel wells.

No rubbing, unless I pull into a driveway turning really hard.

How did you remove the egg crates? I have 33s and still getting rubbing on those.

Looks badass! Those are the wheels I wanted but they were out of stock when I was buying. Love the polished!

There are hidden screws I believe, the diagram is here somewhere or alternatively you can get creative with a grinder lol

As this is a safety piece, this is at your own risk.

Unscrew the bottom half of the fender flares to access the liners. Remove the screws in the liners to access the egg crates. There are 4- 13mm bolts holding them in. After removing, replace all your screws and you can use one of the egg crate bolts to hold the liner back.

Could you post some more angles/ side shot? Thinking the same size for my truck.

Was looking at 285/70 but would rather go bigger
For safety reasons it would be in your best interest not to go bigger than 285/70-17. Also for practicality with that size tire and a simple lift(like Old Man EMU) you are able to go just about anywhere OffRoad and still able to use the truck as a truck. As the OP mentioned already the Crash Bar delete and the Egg Crate removal is an at your own risk type of thing. If he were to get into a front end collision he has a high chance of injury to the feet and legs. Not worth it in my eyes.

I'm sure Ford conserns of a 30" tire going into the cab are a consern. However once your getting to a 34" tire, that's a lot of tire to push into the cab. It's like trying to fit a much bigger object through a smaller hole. I do plan on trying to get aftermarket crash bars back in. Older cars have none of this.

I understand it's at my own risk.

The only way to get true ground clearance is with larger tires. I'm a big advocate of as little lift you can do to fit bigger tires. This is why I have a Ford Explorer on 37's that can still fit in parking garages. ? And I could still make her 2" lower.

I'll try to get some additional pictures. ?

New to reading up on Rangers....
I think the stock tires look too small.
What's a larger size but still safe with everything? 32" tall max?

Just a little under 33" will fit in there with a level.

What does it rub on if the crash bars are gone ?
depending on

so with a 3.5 lift and crash bar removal you can clear 315 70 17s lock to lock full articulation i think my wheel offset is like 30 something they are the stock ford bronco sasquatch wheels and tires for reference

actually with crash bar removal the 35's fit with a 2.5 you just cant use the last 15 percent of ur turn radius lol I was dealing with that for a while while I waited for my lift to come in drive thru's and u turns were an absolute nightmare but I still took it out offroad and apart from having the turn radius of an aircraft carrier it actually did really good
