I here everyone talking about the 2 in. Leveling kit.
But I put the RC 3 1/2" kit on and I'm wondering if 285/70/17's will fit without any cutting or mods.

Will you be using your factory wheels?

Did the kit come with new UCAs?

Upper Control Arms, which the picture you posted shows them as included. A local dealer put that kit on one of their inventory trucks, upgraded to a +20 offset wheel with Falken Wildpeaks and still had to trim the crash bars on the rear. They changed out the front bumper though so can't say if the fronts would've rubbed. My guess is they won't rub up front, speaking from experience.

I am concerned about stressing out the stock steering box with 285's I do a lot of wheelin', since I got it.

These are the rims I'm thinking about too.

You’ve gone way up in size and moved to a 0 offset wheel, so you’ll likely clear the knuckle but you could still have some rubbing on your anti-intrusion bars. You might get lucky though.

You’ll also have a lot of poke because of the offset - if that’s what you’re looking for, that’s cool - just be prepared for some paint damage. If you didn’t want that, then stay above +20mm with the offset. Your stock wheels are +55mm.

I can’t comment on steering stress - never heard of that issue. Good luck with your crash bars - there are plenty of after market crash bars to choose from if needed.

Thx.. haven't done it yet. Might just go with 265/70's.
After the warranty is up then I can go nuts. But I need to able to get it in the garage for now.

And I don't want any "poke", we got some tight tunnels and trails out here. Appreciate the feedback.
