Forgot to add the most important part, pictures.
2nd pic is next to 35's on a raptor.

Thanks for the confirmation. Looks great! I have Falkens coming on some Methods with a +35 offset. The Falkens are C rated but still heavy. I am prepared for the hit to MPG.

Good call on C rating, my nittos are also C and ride exactly the same if not a tiny bit better than my generals. Ive ridden some trucks incl. raptors with E rated tires and that was super stiff.

Keep us posted once you get the new tires and wheels! And pics of course!

Little late seeing this.

i have 285/70/17 ridge grapplers on mine with a ~23mm+ offset wheel (wider wheel than stock tremor).
Stock suspension w/ no leveling and it fits fine. Crash bars cut in half and its decently far from them. Took it on a decent trail and no tire rubbing or damage.

Be warned on the mileage hit, my tires are 55lbs (51lbs per fedex which is weird) and RTR wheels which i believe are the same or lighter than stock, and my mpg went from 21 to about 18, but those are both with the bed cover which bumped up my stock mpg.
When you say cut in half im guessing you split them up the middle like the high clearance bars? Just wondering because since i switched to a +25mm offset the front rubs in reverse on the stock general grabbers. so what ever solution i end up with might as well be future proof since the next set of tires will be a bit bigger.

Yeah i did cut vertically. Stock my grabbers were hitting the plastic cover on my crash bars, but that was also due to the "in spec" ranger lean on the drivers side.

I think 285s will fit the stock suspension provided a new wheel offset and crash bars replaced or modified. Mine is a +25 offset but I do have a 1" spacer.

Got driver side on before the snow and wind chased me indoors. Swapped in the crash bars for the Ready Lift bars. The rear bar slid out with no need to cut anything but I decided to cut the front bad as opposed to loosening the bumper. At full lock I was about an 1/8” from the air dam so removed it. So far really liking the look. Will finish the job tomorrow weather permitting.

These are Falken Wildpeaks at 285/70/17 on Method 705s (17x8.5 with offset +35).

Will post more pics when finished.

Finished up. Love the look and have no rubbing. This is stock Tremor suspension but crash bars swapped out for the ReadyLift.
Now I need to figure out where I want to run the PSI for these.

Love those wheels. Those were my other option when I shopping for new wheels. Ties into the rest of your truck really well!

Hey Greg: Can you post a couple of close ups of the ready lift crash bars? I'm about to lift and put a winch on so that will be the time to do the crash bars. I'm going to wait for new trires till after the winter, the current grabbers only have 2300mi on them. I've been eying all the aftermarket crash bars and the ready lift and the Fabtech ones I have not seen installed. Thanks for your time!

Is it possible to put 285's on the stock Tremor rims? I can see spending $$ on wider tires, but not an extra $1000+ for rims too.

You would likely need a spacer on the front wheels to prevent rubbing on the suspension.
