If you could order a raptor and pay MSRP instead of the stupid games at dealers it wouldn't be the worst price in the world. However it's probably gonna become like the f150 where people pay a premium. Front locker is cool too! I'm curious if the axels are the same or not and how they adjusted for the extra load from a front locking differential.

They're probably using Bronco running gear.

the 6 shades of gray plus black and white are really pushing the color spectrum on the raptors...
What I was surprised to see was no Code Orange for the Raptor. You have all the interior stitching in CO yet don't offer it (at least for the first year) as an exterior color? ?‍♂

I was surprised this wasn't posted here already, but I saw a posting on Facebook this morning about the 2024 build and price. It is apparently functional now:

https://shop.ford.com/configure/ranger/2024/model/

Just for yucks I decided to build a 2024 as similar to my 2019 as I could. I did, and it was about 7k more (51k) with no real difference (that I can tell) in what it has. I also did a Raptor and there is basically nothing you can add other than accessories - it came out to 57k. If I were to be in the market, I'd probably opt for the Raptor (assuming I wouldn't have to pay ADM).
You're sure paying for all that quality these days...

Yup. Kind of a broken record now, but somehow in my moderate sized city I was the first person to walk in the doors and got the single allocation on the 1st Raptor. Go in monday to put deposit for order.

For those not on 6G some notes on Raptor:

- 3,000 count first run, dealerships are getting an allocation of 1 (yes you read that correctly) and further batches will allow for different allocations.

- Raptor has to be stock order, not retail order (meaning dealer orders it for themselves technically, I assume to to absorb the 1 allocation)

- Raptors cannot be price locked currently due to "fluctuating market prices" until your build starts. Some dealers are waiving the deposit until the price lock can occur.

- Raptor orders having to be stock purchases means you are at the dealerships whim as far as ADM pricing because you are not ordering it, the dealer is.

- Good news, even though they have to be stock orders, your dealer should be able to order exactly what you want without adding a bunch of accessory garbage to it as if it was really a stock order without a prior order. Well if your dealer is not a douche canoe.

- Delivery probably will not be till Spring 2024.

All this info comes from third party commenting and/or dealership bulletins.

why is there all of these "people" on Facebook say they got there ordered for sticker price ?
and on one post over there the one guy states that the dealer is adding 15k for market value.....

Friday the put in my order for 2024 Raptor, only option I added was the block heater. My dealer sent in the order waiting for Fords reply

Every dealer can choose to sell at sticker or add an ADM, there is no rhyme or reason.

Keep in mind a dealer can process as many orders as they want, but an allocation is an allocation.

Whether the dealer is telling this to the people is another matter.

"Sure we can take your order for a Raptor" - it is not a lie, its basically a half truth.

I ordered a 2023 Ranger XL crew cab on 8/10/2023 and was locked in at the order (sticker) price of $28,320... By the time it was produced in early Dec the sticker was up to $29,320......... Only option I ordered was the $495 trailer tow package.

For 2024 you can't order supercabs anymore and I don't want a crew cab since I would rather have the 6 foot bed.... Configuring a 2024 XL with the only option as the trailer tow package and it prices out $34,665 so its either $5320 more than the actual sticker or $6320 higher than my order price. For 2024 you do get 17" alloys wheels, STX appearance package, bigger center display, and the trailer backup feature but in my opinion definitely not worth $6320 more than my 2023 to me.
