2022 Ranger bed alignment issue's

Body shop originally said they couldn’t fix and said no one ever noticed. Said the f150’s had this problem too. Can’t tell you if the bed or the cab was aligned.
Service rep didn’t know.

I grew up in the era when cars shipped from the factory would occasionally have empty beer cans and/or soda cans left inside of the door panels.

As long as the tailgate opens and closes properly and the bed/parts don't fall off on the highway I'm not particularly concerned about perfect alignment.

Sadly that's a brand new 2022 on the dealers lot that's for sale right now. ?

There's another image floating around of a nearly new Tacoma that lost the rear differential/springs on a California highway - I would be unhappy for sure.....

I have two rangers. Our Tremor has a hood that is mis-aligned. My FX4 driver door is mis-aligned.

there is 6 bolts.
they are listed as one time use
but you can see how easy it is to crawl under there after 2 beers....cuss for an hour, have two more beers as you push it into alignment with a buddys help. (might even be easy to just use an alignment punch if you have no budds)....and then get back under there with two more beer and tighten them back up.
what better way to spend a sunday morning instead of going to church.

I have a SCAB that the bed is offset by 1/2 inch. I was looking into correcting this myself and then came across this image. Then looked up the service procedures. See that trash can with a nut going into it. Well if you crack the nuts to move the bed you’re supposed to replace them. Seems the torque amount stretches the threads enough so they want them replaced. That’s when I decided, it’s fine, I’ll live with it.

My LED tail lights are installed right.

This is my 1st ford. Coming from the BMW community (8 total) I’ve never had panel alignment issues.
whether it’s the end consumer that don’t care or the assembly line slap it together mentality, it’s a reflection on the “times”.

So had the windshield recall done. After i cleaned the dash of all the black dust they left behind i see that the center speaker cover is scratched.
called the dealer and they want me to leave the truck with them for a day so they can determine who should be responsible. Inconveniencing me more.
Who dreamed this “customer” trashing up anyway?
Over a $25 part.
come on ford.
