It didn’t matter what time of day, or what the temperature was, the fenders had to be pulled out.Front fenders, hood, and tailgate are all aluminum.
Both hood and fenders are aluminum....but it was a good thought.Seems to me that temperature has a lot to do with hood alignment as if the fenders and hood were made of different materials. Just a thought, get back to me after looking at them at different times of the day

My driver's side is off a bit. How did you move the fender out? Thanks Ric I did mine also, it was the same as yours
Pop the hood and you will see 3 10 mm bolts on top of the fender. Loosen the bolts and lightly pull out fender and tighten bolts. My rearward bolt was maxed out in its hole and the fender is slightly still off but only about a 1/16,I could open up the hole but for now its much better. My driver's side is off a bit. How did you move the fender out?
The hood over hang was on both sides. The driver’s side was 1/4 inch off and the passenger’s side was 1/8 inch off. The fender bolt holes had to be enlarged. A dremel was used. The picture is after the passenger’s side was moved. The driver’s side was moved out even further. My driver's side is off a bit. How did you move the fender out?
Good luck and take some pictures if you can.Mine is off like your guys' pictures, thanks for the info, I will be adjusting mine this weekend - taking to the dealer for this would be a waste of time
