Hi RD,

Glad to see the sales increases...wonder how it will be for the whole model year 2020... When I retired back in 2002, my volumes were just tad over 430,000 units per year. Wonder if Ford can ever regain this high a volume after stupidly killing off Ranger in 2011...

best,

Looks like it's leveling out somewhere between 7,000-8,000 per month. Looks like it'll be holding the 3rd place spot behind the Tacoma and Colorado for the foreseeable future.

They must all be hiding...this past week, I drove 2,500 miles from NC through OH, PA, WV, V, and MI then back...saw two Rangers:facepalm:
Cruised up and down Woodward Ave during pre-cruise amongst thousands of hot rods, saw ONE Ranger besides mine...even around my old job at FoMoCo, Dearborn, didn't see a single one:crazy:

I'm in DFW and I've only seen one... I work from home so I avoid the rush hour but I still would expect to see more of them.. I see Colorados/Tacomas/Frontiers all over the place and the sparse Ridgeline .. I guess that reflects sales as well.. but.. also how long they've been out.. I see a ton of old Rangers all the time.

I've seen one Lightning Blue Ranger headed down the Maine turnpike from Auburn a couple weeks ago. its the only new one I've seen. You can't swing a dead cat without hitting an old Ford Ranger, they are almost as common as newer Tacoma's around here. It makes one wonder why the ranger was killed off in 2011 in the US.

I think ranger will peak at 10k units a month, Ford just don’t seem that interested in selling high volume .. I truly believe they don’t want to eat into f150 sales but I could be wrong .. it’s kind of nice to not see a ranger on every driveway like a f150 lol

I haven’t seen a single one!!! I bet most people are experiencing sticker shock...I wanted a Ranger but how could I have said no to a F150, with the amazing 2.7TT for $1000 less?!

Remember they are only running one shift at the factory. There is also low incentives and low inventories. The sales numbers seem low but I imagine the folks over in Dearborn are just fine with them.

I've seen 6-8 Jeep Gladiator Pickups in the wild but only one Ranger. Not sure why...that Gladiator pickup is U.G.L.Y.

I've seen one other in my little town...only seen 2 or 3 w/in 50 miles or so. I did see a blue (similar to my Lightning Blue) extended cab Colorado yesterday while stopped at a light....I thought the passenger was going to break his neck when they turned in front of me--he was gawking the whole time I could see him looking back
