Guys have you experienced this? Mine is getting stuck on intermittently. I bought it new and it has 93k on it. It's a pain in the butt and the AC stops working when it does it. I was just wondering if you guys had anything like this happen.
Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what you mean by stuck on. It always is rotating while the engine is running, but at varying speeds as commanded by the PCM. Get Forscan and read any DTC codes. Is the truck over-heating?

That sounds backwards. Without the fan running, the AC won't work properly.
IIRC, the fan should always be on when AC is running, especially this time of year.
Maybe it's the AC that has problems, not the fan.

Just a thought but it's a 2019 and a lot of them have the defective HVAC. Could it be the actuator sticking? Do you hear any grinding noises when it's not working?

Typically, when i go somewhere the ac is fine until I stop and turn the truck off, when I crank back up the fan i on constantly and the ac won't work. Loud, loss of power etc , my wife heard me before I got in the driveway, she thought it was a big truck coming.

The engine cooling fan roaring is normal when first starting the truck or if the engine has high cooling needs. The engine fan is always turning when the engine is running. The PCM controls its speed. When it is commanded to turn at high RPMs it has a roaring sound. If your truck is overheating, the fan will have a roaring sound. Is your coolant level correct? Also check for debris between the radiator and AC condenser. You may have to remove the plastic cover above the radiator to look for leaves or debris.

Yes, an air pocket in the cooling system after a thermostat replacement is definitely possible and could cause all kinds of weird issues including the fan going crazy.
