I had a young man in the neighborhood detail the truck and something managed to get behind the instrument lens causing cloudiness.
Does anyone know how to get to it? Thanks
Drove it today with no problems whatsoever. I did open the reservoir cap when it was hot to let off pressure. Coolant level is good. I guess we'll see how it goes.
Thanks for all the replies gents.
Typically, when i go somewhere the ac is fine until I stop and turn the truck off, when I crank back up the fan i on constantly and the ac won't work. Loud, loss of power etc , my wife heard me before I got in the driveway, she thought it was a big truck coming.
Guys have you experienced this? Mine is getting stuck on intermittently. I bought it new and it has 93k on it. It's a pain in the butt and the AC stops working when it does it. I was just wondering if you guys had anything like this happen.
Thanks in advance.
So after 8 months my Ranger was starting to do it again so I replaced them yesterday and all was good again. I figure I'll keep one on hand and just replace as needed.
Update: I had only replaced the DPFE and it was awesome but like Trashpanda I ordered the MAPT and IAT and got even more of an improvement!
Gosh! I didn't know my truck was running that bad!!!
Now all I need to do is grease the propeller shaft.
I am seriously considering getting the Motocraft...
I had these issues with transmission as well and gave up on dealerships and came to you guys on here and haven't been steered wrong yet!
I remember when Ford was a better company!
I've had the same problems described here so I ordered a DPFE sensor.
Mine is a 2019. I'll let you guys know how it goes. It was worth 100.00 to try.
Great info on this site!
