Had that been available a year ago I would have definitely installed it! I cut a hole and installed the factory 12V plug in my box.

It was, works great. He has it with a split harness so you can tie in bed lights as well.

Hey everyone I've been working on a factory looking 12V 20 amp socket for the bed that doesn't require cutting into the bed or splicing into wires. It also doesn't require any adapters. It uses a heavy duty socket and 14awg well insulated copper wire. It's a super simple install that only requires tightening one stainless steel bolt. The socket housing is also sprayed with truck bed liner. Below is a link to the listing I have on eBay. Check it out and message me if you have any questions. I'm also looking at selling the same setup with I long pigtail so you can run it to the battery or fuse box. Let me know if you are interested.

Wolf haus plug is one of the easiest best mods to do to your ranger. And if you get the plug with pigtails.....use the extra wiring to do whatever, like bed lights! Good purchase, lots has been done with them, just go to the
What did you do with your ranger thread

The mounting location is the same but how it is secured in the location is different. I designed it to use a single adjuster bolt that wedges the assembly tight in place. The bolt is also stainless steel and hidden on the back side of the assembly. I also fit an actual cigarette/marine plug in the location so there is no need for an adapter. My setup is also rated for a full 20 amps. I use a high quality socket and 14awg copper wiring. I'm sure WolfHaus' setup is great but I wanted to do something that could handle 20amps and didn't need an adapter to make work with a car plug. I originally made it for my truck and thought I would offer it to others so they can have a nice factory looking plug in their bed.
