Definitely take it in. Also make sure you’re remote starting it and letting in warm up a bit if you’re going to drive it to dealer in the next day or so. Keep us updated and good luck. Very weird that once yours is warm it works fine. Seems many people here (myself included) have the weird shifting when cold but I’m really curious on what your issue is. Mine will shift firmer and rev up rpm’s higher which I guess is how they designed it to operate at cold I guess but yours won’t even pick up gears. My truck will be in soon to be looked at and I’d really like to keep the truck but refuse to beat around the bush at the dealerships. I’ll give it an honest go and if in a year or two my issues still exist I’ll be getting something other than a Ford sad to say. I planned on keeping this truck until the wheels fells off but that may be short lived. It just took mine a whole city block to regain propulsion, but went away when warm, so I’m going to have to leave it overnight at the dealer so they can diagnose on a cold start as it doesn’t do this when warm.
