First off, I need to thank this message board for providing the info that allowed me to try and get this issue fixed before it costs me $$$.
Using this site and the latest TSB 25-2134 I took my 2021 Lariat with 43K into the dealership back in July. I wanted Ford to address the problems these trans were having BEFORE my 5yr/60 expires next year. They told me they had such a backlog it would take weeks to get my truck in. Fast forward to August and they finally called to say they had a rental covered under warranty for me to use and to drop the truck off. So I did and confirmed all work would be done under warranty at no cost to me.
The truck sat for a month before their trans tech started to work on it. After 1 month and 10 days of waiting I got my truck back. I asked for a copy of the work they did for my records so that if anything went wrong with the repair I had documentation. I have read here and online that the main issue with the 10R80 has been the CDF drum and Ford has a new one to replace the old. This is mentioned in the TSB along with other things. So here is my question.
Looking at the print out of what was done I don't see the part # for the CDF mentioned for being replaced. I see a lot of other parts listed. Some are mentioned in the TSB and some are not. The second image shows they did a CDF pressure test which has been noted as a way to see CDF failures with the original 10R80. And it passed after the work done.
So the question is, based on the invoice did they repair my trucks trans to eliminate the issue these 10R80s have been having? Thanks for any info y'all can give
