I'm an addict too! The first time I used pbs was on a rental car and it was hard to get use to not always digging out my keys. I'd get in with the key out and then have to get out to put it away. My Tacoma had it and I got so use to it that when I was looking for my Ranger I knew I had to have it too. Now it's the opposite, when I rent a car that doesn't have it I'll sit down then have to get back out to dig out the key. First world problems! lol
Me too - until you have it and have used it for a while, you don't know how nice it is. It is so nice not having to dig into your pockets for a key all the time. My only complaint with my Ranger in this regard is there is no sensor on the tailgate to lock/unlock it with my finger, so if I want to unlock the tailgate, I have to actually get the fob out of my pocket and unlock it - how barbaric!!!!

Seriously, PBS is going to be a must have for any new vehicle for me. Both our cars have it now - it takes a bit of getting used to after years of turning a key, but it is hard to go back.

100% why I bought the Lariat vs. the XLT. Push button start. While I like some of the other Lariat features, I could live without them. But live without pbs? NOPE. For me, pbs is that important. Everybody has an opinion, but in my world if I'm paying for a vehicle it WILL have pbs. I absolutely love that feature. Love it. Even if I found vehicle that was an extremely good deal, if it didn't have pbs it wouldn't even be on my radar. Guess you could say I'm a pbs addict!
Agreed. There are certain technologies that you never come back from. DVRs, smart phones, push button start with intelligent access.

Luckily between the old Jeep and my work truck I won't get too out of practice with a key.

Yes refrigerators are very nice!

I'm sure you love your flip phone, but going back to one after using a smart phone is difficult. There are days I want to throw my work phone off a bridge.

In all seriousness, flip phones had their advantages. Can't remember the brand now, but I always bought the "armor plated" ones. You could drop kick it across a parking lot with no issues.

Of course you couldn't use one of them to surf this forum "at work" so there's that. ;)

I loved my Motorola StarTac flip phone. That think went though hell and back and always worked.

Nextel flip phones were tanks. So glad PPT is out of fashion.

Nokia for non flip phone tank mode.

Kyocera duraxv mil-spec everything and approved for use in areas with flammable(inflammable to the rest of the world) vapors. I can run this thing through a dishwasher to clean it. it gets reception 4 FLOORS BELOW GROUND. 4 FLOORS!!! try that with your ifon it ain't happening. internet on your phone is useless unless you have a connection... just saying. I have other things to keep me entertained at "work" like real live cuties.

Would you consider telling me how you REALLY feel about push button start? ?
