I intended to install the OBD-12V desulfator today on my 2020 Ranger Lariat. I'd watched a video on it and it seemed pretty simple. Not so much at this point.

First mistake - I didn't start the truck before doing anything to establish a successful baseline. I installed the unit using the standard lugs (not alligator clips), attaching them to their respective 10mm bolts and then went to start the truck. When I open the door, the dash lights come on and the dash cam activates but the pushbutton to start the truck doesn't flash.

The dash looks like this and has not shut off since the first time I got in to start it after attaching the desulfator:

There is no reaction when I try to turn on the ignition by keeping my foot off the brake and pressing the start button. I have no idea where to go next. BTW, I also tried attaching a jump back to the battery and that had no effect.

Any suggestions?

I would disconnect the battery for a 5 minutes and then reconnect it. Also, check the terminals for tight connections and all connectors are attached to the battery positive bus bar.

Another friend suggested that and that was all it took. I didn't even lose my Sync configurations. Thanks for the response.
