I will differ with you Chris. My 22 Lariat was built in April and delivered in May. No delays and noting missing nor have I had any issues.
Not sure how you're differing with me...

Hence why I'm getting charged $960 for a new windshield. They have to recalibrate the lane keep stuff that I turned off on day one and will never use. An extra $300 for that. I'm shopping around.

I've read the used car market bubble might burst soon and with gas prices so high the best deals will be on full size old trucks I'm hoping.
From what I heard, $960 would be a good deal. I've heard at much as $2k. And the calibration will still be needed for you Collision Avoidance system. You will be hard pressed to find someone to replace the windshield and NOT do the cal, due to liability issues.

Maybe he meant to say defer - 1: to allow (someone else) to decide or choose something. 2 defer to (something) : to agree to follow (someone else's decision, a tradition, etc.)

I bet that's it. Good catch.

The $960 was from Safelite which has been the highest priced. The reason they price it there is because my deductible is $1k and my insurance directs me to Safelite when I try to make a claim for the glass. It's a shitty tactic they use since they're in bed with one another.

A local glass place just quoted me $600 even or $800 for the oem glass with Ranger written on it.

LOL, I read "decontenting" as meaning to make unhappy (not content). Partly because I'm a frog so that word is used a lot when talking about being happy in French.

I suppose it has the same affect though, as in making me unhappy with some of the deletions, although the economy appreciates me trying to make up for it by ordering all the missing things in some form or another!
