For what it's worth I tried to order Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30 from Walmart and they cancelled my order because it was out of stock. I put an order in with NAPA now, so, we'll see. Nothing crazy. Just enough for a couple of changes. I'm not trying to add to the problem but since I do my own service I want something more than 6 qts sitting on my shelf.

I asked my dad to grab me a box of the Costco synthetic as a backup when he reached out to me to see if I needed anything.

So it looks like there really is a shortage and not just a bunch of BS. Are the doubters going to run out and start hoarding cases of oil now. lol

In other news it looks like there's a possible deal (what's this the 4th time! ) to open the Strait and Dow futures jump 300 points. At least my investments are booming making up for any increase in gas , oil and well every other increase.

I bought a 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 yesterday at WalMart for $24.97. Had plenty of brands and weights. Wife’s car needs an oil change.

They probably have warehouses full of old stock so they haven't raised their prices yet. Just wait until they need to replenish it.
