Thinking about trading in the Ranger for this lifted Frontier….

That Nissan has a wee bit too much poke but that Ranger has the perfect stance. Don’t do it.

The Wolfbox MF200 Super Power Turbofan arrived in the mail today. It was a prize for participating in one our sponsor’s threads, so here’s a shoutout to @Wolfbox and a big Thank You for the air duster!

I can already think of a few good uses and will post about the experience after unboxing and using it for a while.

Good for starting a camp fire?

I was thinking how great it will be at the cottage for the fire pit and the pizza oven. At the moment, my propane plumbing torch is my fire starter. This will make them into forges!

I got mine today. Here's my write-up on first impressions:

That was one of the suggested uses, but I wouldn't do that with the "stock" round nozzle (the one that's attached during shipping). The airflow isn't directed enough for my taste, and I think that you would risk blowing embers in all directions.

Having said that, I have not played with the other three nozzles that it comes with, and two of them - the long nozzle and the flat nozzle - could direct the airflow enough to be effective.

If using this to blow on a wood fire, I would limit the fan speed to the lowest setting, and even then I'm not sure if it wouldn't be too much. The middle and highest speeds would almost certainly create too much wind, either blowing your nascent fire out or turning a larger one into a problem rather than a solution.

All of this is theoretical; once I get around to testing it in practice, I'll be able to give you a more concrete answer.

Anyone have experience purchasing from Stage 3 motorsports? I feel like the buying process is very vague. I ordered ikon leaf packs and all 4 bilstein 5100 shocks. On Tuesday I got a shipping confirmation with the tracking number and all the items listed on the same email. Today I received just the rear shocks. After contacting their customer service line it is going to take up to 4 weeks to receive everything else. Disappointing to say the least, I never remember seeing anything about it taking that long before I ordered. What also seemed backwards to me is the delivery confirmation email had the picking list attached and not the shipping confirmation email which would've prepared me ahead of time that I was only receiving the rear shocks.

I bought my Eibach shocks from them and never had any issues but that was 4 years ago. Waiting 4 weeks is crazy but I'm guessing they don't actually have them in their stock and are waiting for Bilstein to ship them the rest. They should've had this on their website so the customer knows what they're in for. 🤦‍♂️

Exactly. I get it, I work in an industry where people expect shit the next day but that's just not how things workout. At least we set the expectation of hey this is what's s up. The shipping confirmation email made it very clear that all the items shipped and were on the same tracking # which is the most frustrating part.

I guess I can be annoyed with myself a little bit. Looking back at the individual items on their website it does have an ETA on both the ikon leafs and the front shocks of around 2-4 weeks. I guess that's the only spot you can find it, not on your actual order.
