There is a gasket on the filter, sort of like a O ring. You could reuse, but they are only around $6.00 through Rock Auto. I just dropped mine off at Ford, and they told me 329 to do a fluid flush but then the called and said this vehicle has no way to hook up to do a flush (10 Speed Transmission) and said they would have to drop the pan and replace the filter and fluid at a cost of over $700. Does this sound right to you all?
