Actually, it would be belch powered….cows and sheep burp out methane from chewing their cud.

However, fart jokes are always better than burp jokes and there’s no universally recognized emoji, so it still gets my vote and a laughing reaction.

Also, there‘s gotta be at least some methane in their farts too.
I stand corrected....just read that 90% to 97% of bovine methine is from burps.....
Guess all the fart methane comes from the politicians..........

this has been a focus of several bills in the US, don't know which ones have passed but one study revealed that methane from cattle comes predominatly from their burps and not farts. Maybe we should equip cattle with methane collection apparatus, of course paid for by the gov. I'm easily amussed so I thought it iteresting that 1st name below was one of the bills sponsors.

Crapo, Bennet, Baldwin, Moran Introduce Bill to Voluntarily Reduce Methane Emissions from Livestock

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senators Mike Crapo (R-Idaho), Michael Bennet (D-Colorado), Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) and Jerry Moran (R-Kansas) introduced the Enteric Methane Innovation Tools for Lower Emissions and Sustainable Stock (EMIT LESS) Act to voluntarily reduce methane emissions from dairy and beef cattle across America’s family farms and ranches.
People looking to fix things that aren't broken! Facts are inconvenient things...

Do you know how many Buffalo roamed the USA for centuries? 60+ million. There are presently 75 million cattle in the USA. But Bison are far larger than modern cattle.

Total methane emissions from bison at their population height is comparable to or even greater than today’s U.S. cattle methane emissions.

People have too much free time on their hands...

I believe AMC bought out Harley Davidson in the 70's? as well. Turned the product into crap, by Harley riders standards, then Harley bought back. But, they may have not survived if AMC didn't help them out at the time.
It was AMF (American machine and foundry)that bought harley not AMC.

There are only 541 politicians in the US Congress and I'll bet they put out more methane than the 75 million cattle.........:crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:

The customer may have spoken, but with their heads up their asses, I doubt it was heard.

Their EV offerings have been cracked and with their electronics-based recalls, prob best they go back to ICE and (we'll) take the nut kick at bailout time.

I'm hoping Slate is able to show them how to make a small truck and take the wind out of GMs sails as far as their subscription model BS dreams go. Nothing but swift kick will learn them.

It just burns my ass to see the money some of these people are making. I’ll leave it at that.
Why? I don't get that viewpoint. I want everyone to make as much money as they can. Just because Joe makes more money than John does not mean that Joe cheated John.

We can disagree all we want but how much is really enough? What man walking upright needs to be worth billions while the people that helped him make those billions, for the most part, struggle to make ends meet? That’s my point. I guess I would never make a good CEO because I probably would invest in my people’s lives. Someone asked me what I would do with the money if I won the lottery when it was up over a billion here in Virginia. I said probably give most of it away. I made a very decent living in nuclear power plant maintenance and management. It was nowhere near millions or billions and I am very happy right now. Is the amount they make like an ego thing or why does a person need that much? My son use to pay $10.00 a month for the meds he needs. Now, they have cut his insurance so far that I think he pays $250 a month for the same stuff. Guess the stock holders were not in the billion range yet.

Congratulations on turning things around, it's not an easy thing to do.:like: One thing I learned a long time ago is to not get hung up on what others have because there's always going to be someone better off than you are. Sure I'm envious of some but I'm just happy and blessed to have what I do and to be able to do the things I've done so far in life.

The easiest way to gain wealth is to just live within your means and always put money into your investment account (IRA, 401K) no matter how much (or little) it is. So many people don't realize the value of compounding over 30+ years and starting young gives you a huge advantage. I stopped giving to Goodwill and the Red Cross after finding out where the money really went. Just make sure your money is going to the cause and not into the CEOs pocket.

Agree with one exception, I donate blood regularly via Red Cross. I don't give them money, just blood. They are constantly campaigning on blood shortage in my area, and they are the only organization in the area that collects blood. Having to have several units when I wrecked my motorcycle and severely fractured my left knee, I will continue to donate blood, platelets, or whatever they need. Too many people are pussies when it comes to donating, so I try to fill that void.

But who says that most that helped them are struggling? These billionaires produce A LOT of jobs and many are high end executive jobs. Just because there's people who are working in factories and lower end jobs from them are not the owners fault, it's their own. Let's face it, many people make many bad choices throughout life, that's a fact! These same people are usually the ones crying that everyone else has it better than them and poor me. For some that "might" be true but for many it's self induced. How many of these poor me people have large houses they don't need, large trucks or SUVs when they could be driving a smaller Honda Civic? How about the 5-6 streaming subscriptions, tattoos, piercings and new smartphones every year or two and DoorDash and other home delivery services? There's a reason there's an app called Rocket Money out there for morons who don't know how many services they still have active and never cancelled them. 🤦‍♂️ Let's not forget the spinoffs from all these jobs too like all the stores around who the employees stop and get food, gas and whatever else from. Trips are taken and vehicles & houses are bought because of these billionaires provided jobs for people. What THEY do with their money is not the rich persons problem. It's called self responsibility and if they want more pay then they need a better education or maybe a different career.

I had someone tell me once they'll never be able to retire and will be working until they drop. He had no saving or IRA/401K but he was loaded with tattoos from head to toe. I said you're wearing your retirement and just got a blank stare.

I think this subject gets me going because most now want to start at the top and not climb the ladder like it should be. I built my business with just a high school education and while it was nothing compared to most bigger ones it provided me and all my employees (who wanted the same) a good career and good pay. But I worked 6-7 days a week for many years and did what it took to make it. I still had fun and had my toys but I sacrificed a lot especially in the way of relationships back then. I was able to semi retire at 51 and fully retire at 59. Basically everyone has the same opportunity in life (yes some have a silver spoon given to them) but it's what you make of it that gets you there. Sorry rant over. 🙃

No problem. I give up. Just the way I think right wrong or indifferent as they say.

I haven't had the time to really fact check this(to these articles) but it looks to be true. The Red Cross sells your blood to hospitals and other places which turn around and charge you thousands for a blood transfusion. I've read way to many things about them along with Goodwill to ever give either anything ever again.
