Drove to work. Stopped at Casey's General store and gassed her up with 89. Final stop of the afternoon was Brookshires. Actually got Everything that I needed in one trip lol.

We took Roxy Ranger down Diamond Creek Road to the Colorado River. This a permit-only route in the Hualapai Indian Reservation, and one of the only access routes into the canyon.
You can stop by the Fish and Game office in Peach Springs, AZ. for a trespass permit if you're interested.

Got up out of bed with much snap, crackle, and pop, checked the obituaries in the town gazette, saw that my name was not listed there, decided that was a good thing.
Sooo, then I remotely fired up the Ranger, threw on some glad rags whilst it was warming up, hopped in the now warm Ranger, and motored her eastward to somewhat scenic downtown Smithvegas to a monthly retirement breakfast. Backed the Ranger into a suitable parking spot and secured from transport.
Discussed the good ole days with some former coworkers whilst leisurely consuming a most excellent ham and cheese omelette with home fries on the side of course washed down with five cups of most excellent coffee.
Fired up the Ranger and pointed it westward towards the home twenty, stopped at 7-11 midway home to top of the petrol tank with 93, motored on to the home twenty and carefully backed the Ranger into the carport, secured from transport, locked the ingress and egress openings, and walked back into the interior of said home twenty stopping to look back at the Ranger one more time just ogling her Rapid Red gleaming finish. She was happy.
THE END

ook this couch to someone's house to give it away for free. The guy was disabled so I'm glad I gave it to him. It is a really nice couch and it's built with hard wood so it was really heavy. We had to pick it up over his hand rails of his porch. Lol I was EXHAUSTED afterwards!

Found excuses to go out and test-drive the new dashcam mirror. It’s pretty cool once you get things adjusted, learn all the settings, figure out voice command, and how to take photos hands-free while driving.

But, like the drivers in NASCAR, I will need a bit of time to get used to the video mirror. However, it has great field of vision and it sure beats trying to make things out in a small mirror through three panes of glass, two of which are tinted dark.

Then, I took some pics and went inside to update my install thread - holy crap it’s taking on a life of its own!

If you’re having trouble sleeping, give it a read…

found one of those really heavy duty trailer loading ramps on the side of the highway. I had to grab it before someone else did. Now I just have to find one that matches. These are the heavy ones that's are expensive. Boy, is it heavy!
Until you get a second one just load one side at a time!😂

What did I do with my Ranger today?

Well, the day started off miraculously well in that I woke up still ventilating (with help from the overnight air compressor I might add) and reasonably pain free. Checked the wrist for a mediocre to strong pulse, yep. Both eyes open and somewhat focused, yep. Once that was all verified, I gently and very deliberately altered my position from horizontal to vertical, rubbed the sleep from my eyes, and stood up listening to all the familiar snap, crackle, and pop of the joints bunching up somewhat similar to a freight train under moderate to heavy braking. Once all the bunching up racket ceased, I verified the stability of the vertical position and proceeded on to the en suite, the details of which I will leave out of the story.

Now that all that non-Ranger stuff is out of the way, on to the Ranger stuff.

It was a balmy 32 degrees in the vicinity of the Ranger parking space as I stood there looking out the window at that beautiful shiny Rapid Red Ranger deciding what I wanted to do for breakfast. So I grabbed the Ranger FOB from the key bowl, hit the lock button on the Ranger FOB, pressed the REMOTE START button on said FOB, and listened for that 2.3 liter monster to roar to life, which of course it did immediately as always. Gathered up all the necessary items for proper and legal transport, pulled on a light to medium carhartt jackette, and proceeded out to the Ranger. Put the switch blade key into to proper receptacle, rotated it to the RUN position, stepped on the anchor lever, and pulled the transmission selector lever back to the NEUTRAL position for a few minutes.

(I know, it doesn’t make any difference to the Ranger but it makes the Ranger owner feel better)

THEN, to make a long story short, I drove the Ranger to somewhat scenic downtown Smithvegas, had breakfast and coffee, and drove the Ranger home observing it turn 149,000 miles as verified on the attached picture. I am still amazed at how very well this Ranger has performed to date. I must have gotten very lucky I guess and got a Tuesday through Thursday built Ranger.

(Let me know if you don’t know what that is in reference to)

On an additional note, I may be driving the Ranger to the winery in Barhamsville a little later to sip some grape juice. Have a nice TAFFR day.

Drove 3 hours, round trip, to get a bunch of free 2x4s and 2x6s. Then drove another 5 hours round trip to get a bunch of free plywood! Then drove two hours to my parents house for the weekend. I'm gonna work on the trailer while I'm visiting.
