I believe we may be on to something. The As-Builts would have the original defaults. - Of course, if I roll it all back (assuming I could even do that), I would just have to redo all of my previous updates again. Might actually be less of a pain to do it that way, quite honestly, than hunt and peck.

On a completely different side note; I accidentally discovered that the Factory settings were incorrect for the stock tires. Anyone out there with a Lariat having the Hankook 265/60/18 will likely have 2356mm as the stock values. This is actually for the 17" rim and not the 18" rim, so your speedo and MPG reading would slightly be skewed.

No shit. Really? Now I have to test with the GPS. Assuming that number is too small - compounded that affects mileage too. Funny, it was advertised as LOW MILEAGE at 28k for a 2020.

I owned my 23 Ranger for about an hour and hooked up FORScan to change Disable Double Honk, Disable Auto Start/Stop, and Turn Bambi Mode On.

I will probably do more changes sooner or later.

The one I have is limited to what I have done, and I created it from the list posted in the stickied wiki post. You should be able to copy the entire list from the wiki and dump it into a spreadsheet, that's what I did, and then removed everything I wasn't interested in. My spreadsheet only has a very few lines of the extensive list in the wiki.

ADDED: I just tested it again to be sure... Go to the Wiki, highlight all the rows/columns shown, copy. Open excel, go to the first cell, and paste. It will create a new spreadsheet with all the rows and columns formatted. Then, just edit how ever you wish. I added a new column at the end for "action", which tells me either how the setting was when I found it, or how I changed it to my preference.

I made my own bracket. I do t have great photos.
I used 1”x1” aluminum angle. I attached a vertical piece to each of the bumper mounts. I then attached a horizontal piece to those vertical pieces.

under the lip of the front bumper where the lp holder goes is two small holes that go into the plastic but also through the steel of the bumper. I used those to put mounts in the past. worked well. no drilling.

I just finished my first round of changes with Forscan. $59 later and all of my known annoyances are gone.

It's a start. Forscan isn't as sophisticated as the VAG VCDS but it is just as powerful and dangerous. The Forscan threads, as well as copious notes and pictures, will minimize the risks.

I cannot find the path to change the Software Engine Sound Enhancement.

My software doesn't show a ACM as built module.

I also noticed something that got me drooling,,, Launch Control !

...which I'm assuming doesn't do anything for our Rangers. Or does it ? Has anyone F'd with it ?
