Global windows with forscan

I have a xl and I found the global window setting in forscan and I enabled it but it doesn’t work. I even found it in my settings on the dash and turned it on. What am I missing? I figured at least the one auto window would work?!

My understanding is that rangers don't have the needed module for it to work

Yep, unfortunately forscan can’t help us with anything door or mirror related since we don’t have a door module. You need the $150 module that gives you all 4 auto up/down windows and folds the mirrors etc.

He goes in somewhere behind the left vent right above the light switch. Just a matter of and snapping all those dash pieces and it’s plug and play from there.

Windows were easy. Wire colour and locations were correct. All wiring and the module in the driver door. If you have ambient lighting, be careful of the light tube above the door handle. Only 5 screws, all the same small torx. Need a panel popper/trim removal tool, and a pair of pliers to close a couple connectors.
