Like a few others on here my 2019 finally coughed up a hairball.

Probably a stupid question, but eh, why not. What did your Ranger eat that disagreed with it?😁

He has not aged well.
Loved Aerosmith back in the day.
It's amazing (see what I did there 😜 ) he's still alive from the amount of drugs he's done in the past. Read an article where he said at his lowest point he moved to an apartment in the worst area of Boston so he could just walk out his door and get his drugs.

I've seen them about a dozen times back in the day. Being from MA they always played in our area every year and sometimes more. The one show I'll always remember was back in '83 (might have been '84) where they were predicting a snowstorm but it was just lightly snowing before the show. By the end they announced it was so bad outside they were letting people sleep over inside the civic center. Aerosmith stayed on stage and played another hour and we actually decided to drive home after the show. It was an all out blizzard and we were young and dumb but luckily made it home. Those were the days where they wouldn't cancel an event (or school) when there was just a dusting on the ground. Oh, and tickets were only $8-$10!

I never saw those threads. What is that? Failing muffler?
you are correct... the muffler's asbestos padding for sound cancellation. I'm surprised my 2019 hasn't done it yet, the weep hole in the muffler is practically a waterfall leaving a small watery/gas puddle wherever I'm parked and startup to drive away.

you know it's on my radar next spring/summer to do a DIY exhaust turn-down on the truck. Was thinking a Borla muffler and a 2.5" U pipe cut to the angle I want. Is maintaining the weep hole absolutely needed? I just combed through some aftermarket exhaust pictures and didn't see any from the pictured angles.

My 2019 has just shy of 79k miles. I guess I’ll start checking the tail pipe occasionally 😂

I just happened to see the hair hanging down walking back to the truck. I have no idea if it's the first time. No noticeable increase in noise.
