Well, that was fun.

Some twit pulled out of the gas station and decided to do an illegal U-turn right in front of me. It's a damn good thing that I have good reflexes and fresh brakes, because I had to stand on them to avoid T-boning this idiot.

At least she looked suitably apologetic and embarrassed at her stupidity, as well she should, since a lesser driver would have plowed into her driver's seat.

We went to Mexico this morning to get our teeth cleaned and look around Nogales. We did this regularly when we lived in Goodyear but would go to Los Algondones which is just past Yuma, AZ. It's nice here because the border is only a 40 minute drive compared to 2.5 hours that we use to do. The dentist there are so much better than in the states and way more advanced than most too. They did panoramic x-rays and a full cleaning for $60.00. I have one tooth with an old metal filling that's starting to crack and to remove the filling, build it up and add a crown it's only $500 and if you get there in the morning they'll do it in 2 hours.

The best time to go is late spring/summer because it's packed there now with all the snowbirds and RVers. It's pretty much a ghost town from late April - October and most dentist will reduce their rates then too.
