can you disconnect it at least? my seat belt/airbag fault light has been on for 2 years now due to an easy fix plug under the back seat that got pinched
the way I sit I lean towards the arm rest anyway
I would hate like hell to be hit in the side of the head with the plastic cover, or shrapnel getting blown into the my head?

There are no warning lamps or codes shown. There's only a potential for rupture IF it's deployed.
My guess is if we did disconnect it, a code would be thrown.
I'm not worried about it. It will get fixed, eventually.
