Trying to finish installation of a new dash cam and I cannot find any fuses that are actually switched. Is everything in the passenger compartment fuse box constant power?

Thanks

Great I will check that one tomorrow. Just curious, the taps I have instruct the hot side to be the side farthest from the wire. I had noticed it seemed all of the fuses on the left had hot on the right, and fuses on the right had hot on the left. Was that what you saw?

This is switched under the steering wheel.

Note the BCM handles (Switched) power differently at the fuses, instead of the old school way of only (1) side of the fuse being hot and then (switch-on) and have power on the opposite leg.
It drops power on both legs of the fuse (until switched) so when you were testing and had the key off (it would have shown - dead) both legs.
I had tested this before but forgot which leg (left or right) of the fuse is the power leg, you would need to pull the fuse out - key on - probe each leg to find it.

Here is the list of switched power sources

and a Fuse Tap Note for orientation.

There are better options to power a dash cam, in my opinion. I had nothing but issues using a switched fuse. I now run mine of a OBD II adapter dongle. There are also kits that allow you to cleanly tap power from your rear view mirror.

I have multiple devices to power so I didn't opt for the rear view mirror connector. This camera also requires a constant power source as well as a switched power source so it can tell when it is to run in parking mode and not lose power.

I have a baby monitor, radar detector and the dash cam to power. The fuse @Colo_Ranger cited does provide switched power so I can have the camera detect when ignition is off but it's only 5amps so it won't work for the other 2

I connected this to the 12v “cigarette lighter” port (behind) for my inReach Mini 2 and I just have the baby monitor plugged into the 12v port on the other side.

so mine is backwards?
Yes I would say from my experience with these fuse taps you wont yours reversed. These fuse boxes are a real pain in the ass having the fuses so recessed, they often only fit one way. I ended up grabbing THESE (thinking they were micro to micro) which ended up being micro to... mega. Clipped off the large fuse section and soldered them onto the fuse taps then covered everything in hot glue. This enabled me to use any fuse slot

For posterity: Slot 35 is a switched 5A fuse and slot 37 is a switched 20A fuse. I was able to power everything with these 2
