Bought my Ranger in 2023, it is a xlt fx4 stock tires and no lift. Getting new tires sized at 265/70-17 since that seems to be the size with no modifications needed. I do the occasional light off-roading and am on road 80% of the time. I haul a bass boat occasionally. What tire brands and load rating do you all recommend? Please include pics if possible!

On my 2019 I changed tempt to the Toyo Open Country AT3 115T and really loved them. They're very quiet on the street and aggressive enough for off road. I did have the suspension changed out to Eibach but as you can see there's more than enough room if it were stock.

In case you want to go a different direction - I recently pulled off my all terrains because they became unacceptably noisy at only 35,000 miles, and went a different route and installed Michelin LTX M+S in 265/70. They are fantastic on the road, quiet and comfortable. I don’t tow anything heavy, but they are XL rated. My “off-roading” is limited to gravel and forest service roads and the Michelins are fine for that purpose.

Similar usage for me. Continental Terrain Contact AT. Never heard of the category but they are on road all terrains. They ride nice, very quiet and highly rated. I did lift the front 3/4".

P rated Grabber ATX -- all the grip of an aggressive LT without the weight and mpg hit.

Prior to delivery in 7/2020, had my dealer install Toyo Open Country AT3 LT265/70R17 together with the Ford Performance Tuned Fox 2.0 Level kit.

Firm controlled ride. Great on/off road and not rock magnets. Road trips average 22-25MPG. LT's are heavier with a little more "thud" with potholes and uneven seams. If I didn't drive rocky roads, I would not have bought LT's. Quiet with slightly more tread whine after a few thousand miles.

I'm using the Cooper Dicoverer Road + Trail in 265/70/17 with the Ford Performance leveling kit. They are quieter and better in the rain than the Hankook ATM/LT 's that came on the truck. Haven't used them in the snow yet.

Mastercraft A/T's, they're Cooper's bargain brand. Tread is similar to the Falken Wildpeak.
I had Cooper AT3's before but wasn't happy with the tread life. Might as well get the cheap stuff.

My pick is the Firestone Destination XT. Yes it is available in that size and it has great Wet and Winter Traction.

I went with BFG Trail Terrain in stock size. Good reviews and I find them to be quiet on the Hwy, good in the rain, snow & ice, 3 peak rated. Fuel mileage remained same as stock Bridgestones.

I know this is an older post, just wanted to see how you like your Coopers after some time/miles?
Your Ranger looks great, by the way.

Thanks! I still like them a lot! Only got to use them in a little bit of snow but they were fine and the wet performance is great. I lost a little bit of mileage but also attribute some of that to leveling the front end.
