i like the look of the patogonias and the price but i assumed they would be really sloppy on the road. I am off road often but not full time. So i still need a highway friendly tire that is safe for all seasons. How was the patagonia on the street in rain, stop and go traffic, or high speed sweeping turns?

You do know PP-SGD aka Post Patrol-Spelling Grammar Division is going to sight you for using the wrong word ????
Last I checked there wasn't any requirements for the form stating you have to know how to spell or know how grammar works

I warned you about getting a citation and I ended up getting one. Wonder how many citations by PP-SGD causes a visit inn front of the judge?

I never had a problem. I only got the rear end loose when I wanted to. Usually in the rain when I punch the gas hard around a turn on purpose with Traction Control disabled.

not sure if its the truck or the Ridge Grappler tires but I got 18k out of a set of 285/70/17 the front tires are much worse but I had it aligned at 14k and it was in spec ....
I believe next set I will go with what everyone else says, thats why we are part of these support groups of guys that have been there done that, the Wildpeak seem to be the go to tire? ....

So after my front lift, my insides of my front tires were wearing fast. It was toed-in.

Ask them align the toe almost dead neutral in the front. Spec might still have 1* toe in for straight line stability.

WOW - I was going to send a request to you about the pressure setting you used. I have a 'new' set with just 6K on them right now. Been super worried about running enough pressure (mine are currently set at 37lb front and 32lb in back)....but reading what you have hear - It sounds like I can safely make myself more comfortable. lol

I like the tire (I too have white sidewalls)...but I have been very very worried after reading so many negative comments from other platforms.

I don't plan to go to below 30 but I will reduce my pressure when I rotate them (hopefully later this week).

Also on the mpg hit...I too lost about 2mpgs. I went from 24ish (hwy - for me only thing to consistently track) to about 21-22 (depends on speed - I am so bad - I 'creep' up to 80 sometimes...bad bad for mpg).

Thank you for this posting!!
I honestly would recommend dropping the pressure substantially for a few days.

Try out 27psi all around, it's not like you can't pump them back up.

I don't think it will be as bouncy as you expect.

Just don't use caps lock. Not a requirement but it's just not cool!

OP, I know you you ran them low, but still looks like you could have gone even lower. Judging by the wear being mostly in the center.

That is shockingly bad wear... i can see why Nitto doesn't offer a warranty on their tires, but its crazy how popular they are nonetheless... I've been running my duratracs for almost two years now, even snagged them slightly used. I've put at least 20k on them, and they still look brand freaking new.
