So back when I got my 5G, I put new tires and wheels on it at 6k miles.
You can see my original thread here:

Today, I put a new set on at 60k Miles.
54k miles of use. At 50k miles they were still pretty good but on the end of their usable life.
I rotated the entire set everytime I hit an oil change (approx 7-10k miles).
Here are some photos of the old ones.
And now the new ones.
Once I got down to the outer tread blocks they started to get much louder. I was shocked how quiet the new ones were when they were installed.
I ran them at 27-29psi for the life of the tire and had the constant "low tire" warning each day, but I knew it was ok.
If you want a good life out of these, a low pressure seems to work.
Hope this helps everyone.

My personal belief is that these are the keys to long tread life in these tires.
1. Neutral toe alignment.
2. Low pressure (27-29psi) to use the entire tread block.
3. Rotation every 6-10k miles.
