Hey guys, I recently purchased a used 2021 Ford Ranger XLT from Galpin Ford in California. The truck was in excellent condition and one of their gold standard used vehicles. However, a couple days after I took it home, I noticed the gaps on the hood are uneven. Have any of you guys dealt with this before and is there an easy way to fix this? Thank you.

My '21 XLT has the same issue, drivers' side is marginally larger.

I've seen mentions of the hood and/or fenders being adjustable to close those gaps up.

Raise the right side hood striker pad a bit at a time 1/4 turn. It’s in the front corner not on the hood. Turn it CCW, it may be stiff to turn.

It seems that most of us have hood imperfect fit issues. You can try the hood adjustment bumpers and see if that helps. Good luck and welcome.

Same, but I thought it was something I might have done LOL, having had my truck in the air a few times a year.

Open the hood and above the headlights you’ll see a black rubber hex pad. Turn to adjust. Go with the low side first.
